People don’t like homework, they like to emote. I see that everywhere, all the time. And no truer words were ever said, that people don’t like to analyze themselves. As a society we have built entire industries and infrastructures around catering to this habit - so no one’s dealing with it, and there is strong incentive not to.

“The shorthand is “if they are wrong and I am right, and they are bad people, then I must be a good person by comparison”” this part stood out and is a trap I want to consciously be aware of make sure I don’t fall into easily 👍
